The International National Trusts Organisation (INTO) is hosting a series of webinars focused on climate change, ecology and heritage. (See below and link for details) I thought this might be of interest to some of you.
NEW INTO x National Trust webinar series: Heritage and nature – using the past for the future
INTO is partnering with the National Trust (England, Wales & Northern Ireland) on a new series of webinars exploring how landscape-scale nature recovery, as part of our responses to climate change, is challenging and influencing the way we understand, manage and make the most of the history of these places, now and for the future.
Each session will reflect on the role of people and heritage in supporting nature recovery in different ecological contexts, sharing approaches from the National Trust estate and experiences, insights and practical responses from across our global network.
The next webinar is:
Date: Thursday 20 November
Time: 12:30 – 13:30 GMT
Theme: Trees and woodlands
Explore how historic landscapes and cultural heritage can inform nature recovery and climate adaptation. Hear insights from the National Trust (England, Wales & Northern Ireland) and INTO members around the world, and discover how stories embedded in our environments can shape sustainable futures.
