Archaeology Community Reporting Workshop: Barrington/Fort Saint Louis

Have you noticed an archaeological site at risk from erosion or climate-related damage? Want to learn how to recognize and report it?

Join us for a hands-on workshop designed for anyone interested in protecting our shared heritage. You’ll learn:

🔍 What is an artifact and how to identify one
📍 What archaeological sites look like
🌊 How climate change impacts these sites
📝 How to report damage using our Community Reporting Form

📅 Date: July 29, 2025
🕐 Time: 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM
📍 Location: Old Court House Museum, Barrington Museum Complex, and Fort Saint Louis National Historic Site

👟 What to bring: Sturdy shoes (we’ll hike at the site and along the cobble beach), a water bottle, sun hat, and anything else you need to stay comfortable in warm weather. Transportation from the museum to the fort will be required.
